BK8500B

The affordable, laboratory grade model 8500B Programmable DC Electronic Load is well suited for testing and evaluating a wide variety of DC power sources.

Description

The affordable, laboratory grade model BK8500B Programmable DC Electronic Load available from BK Precision is well suited for testing and evaluating a wide variety of DC power sources. This DC electronic load can operate in CC, CV, CR or CP mode while voltage/current or resistance/power values are measured and displayed in real time and is fully programmable via RS232 or USB interface. Extensive protection, including over temperature, over power, over voltage, over current and reverse polarity will help protect your valuable prototype. Its flexible operating modes and excellent measurement accuracy make this DC electronic load a great choice for characterizing DC Power supplies, DC-DC Converters, batteries, fuel cells and solar cells.

The 8500B Series programmable DC electronic loads improve upon all aspects of its predecessor while maintaining dependability at a value price. This series supports both SCPI and the backwards compatible legacy protocol and includes a TTL to USB interface adapter for easy system integration.

With a transient mode speed of up to 10 kHz and multi-type input terminals for banana plug or spade connectors, these DC loads are suitable for testing and evaluating DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays.
