Overview
The Simex SIR-15 is an InfraRed remote controller and may be used as external programming keyboard for SIMEX devices equipped with IR receivers and remote programming functions. Pressing of any local IR controller key, causes transmission of it’s code to the device.
Functions of particular keys depend on devices features.
Operation range: 0,5 – 5 m (depend on programmed device features)
Power supply voltage: 6V DC – 4 alkaline batteries type LR44
A single SIR-15 remote controller can operate any number of suitable SIMEX devices, one at a time.
SIR-15 remote controllers are not “paired” with meters but for security each meter can be programmed with a 4 digit user definable passcode – see the individual meter Manual for details under “SECU” and “SEtcod”.
